i'll admit, it's been a while since my last post. but every blogger needs a break and my holiday in dubai was everything i needed it to be - a crazy haze of fantastic friends, food, shopping, sightseeing and guiltless glamourizing.
which is why i never get on a plane without my beauty heroes. here are the little 'miracles' that got me through almost three weeks of blazing sunshine, late nights (early mornings) and more cocktails than a girl can remember!

1. bath and body works 'midnight pomegranate' lotion
like all their products, this baby smells even better than it sounds! i slather some on each morning to keep dry hands at bay while being introduced to cute strangers!
.
2. lotus herbals 'nutramoist' day cream
keeps skin super hydrated even when you've been having too much fun and 'forget' to drink water. spf 25 means not having to worry about sun damage when you leave home.

3. inglot freedom system lip palette pro 5
ever a lover of the bright lip, this sleek little palette is packed with mild to wild shades that you can mix to suit your mood. multi task it by doubling the lighter shades as a cream blush for a dewy glow.

4. m.a.c select cover up concealer
a trusty concealer is your best friend. this one can erase all signs of an epic night. now if only it could cure a hangover!

5. chanel 'poudre universelle' compact
is there a chicer way to stay shine-free? didn't think so.

6. l'oreal total repair 5 serum
easily the most effective (and nicest smelling) serum i've used, it helps tame flyaways, reduce damage and keep hair glossy for hours.

7. hemorrhoid cream
strange, i know. but nothing cools down swollen eyes from lack of sleep like piles cream! supermodels use preparation h, but i swear by 'hadensa' (available at local chemists)

8. kiehl's midnight recovery concentrate
this 'heaven in a bottle' serum requires no introduction. truly worth the investment, all you need is 3 drops a night to wake up to sensational skin. i can't wait to try their 'clearly corrective concentrate' either!

9. gold nailpolish
i'm not fussy with nail varnish brands, but i do insist on a perfect
pedi at all times. a subtle gold goes with most of my summer wardrobe and makes a pretty statement without being overkill.

10. c. o. bigelow mentha lip balm stick
don't let the manly packaging fool you, this minty fresh balm hydrates, tastes great and leaves your lips sinfully tingly!

Yo yo! @Gulabo_ here. Already following @kiehlsindia. i'd love to have some Kiehls Voucher as my skin could really use some Sunscreen to protect it from this scorching heat. And what better than using Kiehls. I am already using the Midnight Recovery Concentrate and their newly launched Clearly Corrective Concentrate and I'm so addicted. Love the brand and could do justice with my skin with some more of Kiehls.. Ciao!
