an unlikely pair

i have to give my mom full credit for thinking out of the box and picking out this look.
.
since i always tend to pair leopard prints with black or earthy tones, i was looking for a little inspiration to shake it up! the outfit i originally planned was this animal print top with black tailored trousers and a black bag - boring!
.
then along came mom with her new cardigan, pulled my new denim bag out of my closet and put this look together - easy as pie!
.

.
{ jeans : random bandra store, leopard top : cancer research store london, cardigan : mom's, shoes : christmas gift / trio's, leopard head necklace : colaba, chunky chain necklace : hill road, headband : self made/ diy, ring : gift, belt : and, bag : colaba, sunnies : colaba }

what unusual styling ideas do you have for leopard print? share them with me in the comments section!

OMG I love it. I will leopard with ANYTHING. Literally. I truly believe it's one of the basics (like brown or black). I have a pair of leopard print calfskin Tory Burch flats that I wear almost every day. Most of my wardrobe is navy, red, and black (and leopard matches all those perfectly), but I've also been known to pair it with purple, peach, white, and green. It's so universal and so classy.

Love the blog. Can't wait to read every day!
