i may not have started as young as suri cruise, but fashion and style are things i've been drawn to from the start. here's a brief history on the evolution of my style!
age 4 : i refused to wear anything but girly, floaty dresses!
age 5 : mom gave me a vanity box filled with perfume samples, lip balm and a faux
pearl necklace for christmas!
age 6 : while most kids my age wanted to be teachers and doctors when they grew
up, I wanted to be a supermodel!
age 7 : making necklaces became my new hobby!
age 8 : i decided that i must have long hair upto my waist so my mom
bought faux hair and stitched in into a cap for me!
age 9 : i developed a ring fetish and had a box made especially to store my ring
collection.
age 10 : i insisted that i 'needed' a pair of boots and was ready to do anything to
have them! (hence the A+ on my report card)
age 11 : i'd have all my friends over and we'd parade around in my mom's high heels
with purple eyeshadow on!
age 12 : my beauty must haves? bubblegum chapstick and strawberry lip balm!
age 14 : i got totally makeup obsessed and would spend ages teaching myself
makeup techniques!
age 17 : i started making fashion scrapbooks as a hobby. i'd cut out pictures from 17
magazine, group trends together and do little writeups on them! that's
when i realized that i could make a career out of doing what i absolutely
loved!
age 20 : i scored an internship with a fashion magazine where i got to fulfill what i
started out to do years ago :)
sorry for the super long post!
what's your fashion story? share it with me in the comments section!

My skin finally cleared up from puberty mayhem! Fresh out of a break up with a "stay-at-homey" bf, i got a break up super short haircut... n so it began! :)
Very innovative post ... well my story is something similar to Pooja.. but given an option even today I'd rather be a Tom boy.. :-) & then why not ..just trying to learn from you guys how to make that chic.. why dont you post something on that !!!
