you know the feeling when you buy something gross just because it's cheap and would be fun to style into something amazing?
you don't? oh well.
i know it's not everyone's usual shopping strategy, but taking an 'ugly duckling' and turning it into a swan isn't only fun, but it also makes me feel good about myself, as if I've given something a new lease on life. i bought these 'hideous pants' off the street for close to nothing, threw in a formal blazer, some studded heels and a sequin tank et voila! instant military glam!

{ pants : hill road, sequin tank : hill road, blazer : thrift, shoes : london, bangles : globus, sunnies : gift, watch : birthday present }
what trashy finds have you transformed? share them with me in the comments section.
