many thanks to my friend rittika for sending in a styling request on red overcoats. i finally got a chance to pull this baby out of the back of my closet and into regular rotation where it rightfully belongs!
up untill today, i underestimated just how tough it is to pull off post-office red without looking like minnie mouse or, in this season, santa! (maybe i'm just addicted to monochrome) either way, i hope i did the look justice!

BATA??? i saw their marie claire collection... not bad, much better than these tacky flats i've come across recently. Shoe shopping has been so disappointing of late :(
Rittika: Yeah Bata Marie Claire was designing some pretty cute stuff last year (that's when i bought these). Since then they're just not that good anymore. And you're right. Shoe shopping in Mumbai isn't as fun as it used to be!! :(
