#OOTD Floral Jumpsuit

I think I have a problem. If you follow me on Pinterest, you’ll know that lately I’ve developed a fixation with florals that borders on unhealthy. It all began when I started this board. Inspiration struck like lightening and I found myself glazed over in front of the computer screen, having bought more power-flower numbers from the usual online stores than could easily last me all summer.

 

It escalated when I chased down an old lady outside a church in Bandra, just to ask where she bought her darling little blossom-printed skirt from. Though she was kind enough to indulge my eccentricity, all I could think about was “Who is this person? Why is she chasing an old lady and why has nobody arrested her yet?”

 

I decided to take the mania down a notch, rather than be subjected to an intervention, and am happy to report that I haven’t bought a single bloomin’ piece since. (This jumpsuit was a gift. Seriously!)

 

My floral pieces now live happily in my wardrobe and get along like a house on fire with my polka dots, stripes and solid-hued jackets. I even heard that a certain rose-printed blouse is flirting with an animal print skirt, causing quite the scandal on a night out! And they all lived botanically ever after!
