#OOTD Back to Blogging in Monochrome
They say you never miss the water till it’s gone, and to be honest, I had never fully understood what it meant until I began my first ever full time job last year. And while it was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, I really, really missed writing my own stories. I missed photography and just between you and me, I even missed the PR people I’ve complained about on Twitter! In short, I’ve missed blogging. Which is why I’m thrilled to announce that I’m finally back where I belong and it feels so good!
The past year, however, has been a learning experience for me and probably one of the most pivotal years of my life. In addition to my full time job, my affinity to believing I’m Superwoman had me juggling freelance writing and styling assignments, travel and a new found teaching job I really enjoy.
Bit by slow bit, I’ve been working towards building a bigger, better Bombay Bubble. And, I’m very excited to announce that along with a complete layout change and the introduction of two new categories on the site, blog posts on outfits, beauty, decor, trends, events, how-to’s, travel and the like will now be posted DAILY on Bombay Bubble!
It’s been a challenging year to say the least, but reading your comments and notes about how much you miss the site and how excited you are for it’s return has helped me bounce back whenever I felt like I was stretched too thin. Thank you for your unending patience and support and for making me believe that it was all worthwhile.
Thank you James for believing in me even when you hadn’t even seen the site and for always encouraging me to go back to the one thing I’m most passionate about (besides you!).
Thank you Jugal for being so incredibly patient with me and for not only being the most amazing web developer, but one of my closest friends.
Thank you Parizad and Mehi for always helping me create beautiful pictures I couldn’t be more proud of.
And thank you mum for always being supportive, for encouraging me to try new things and for never letting me give up.
I’m so excited to share my new journey with you. Let’s do this!
What have you missed most about the blog while I was away? Outfit posts, trend reports, beauty or reviews? Tell me all about it in the comments section! And don’t forget to follow me on Twitter and Instagram to see what I’ve been upto these past few months.
