Meet The Snazzy Man

2

Take a peek into your significant other’s closet and I dare you not to find a sea of navies, charcoals and pinstripes, to-the-point briefcases, sensible brogues and argyle socks. Yawn. Which is why, in a world full of no-nonsense menswear designed to make a man take himself far too seriously, Mohnish Panjabi’s daily wardrobe is a breath of fresh air.

It probably stems from his fashionable roots. His family owns Collezioni Moda, a chain of high end European-inspired womenswear stores which retail across the county. So in addition to flying in an out of Istanbul, the brand’s headquarters, he also found the time to  take a course in luxury brand management and writes a fun, tongue-in-cheek menswear blog, The Snazzy Man.

Armed with a strong sense of personal style, this dapper dude’s daily dressing includes mixing and matching prints, throwing together statement ties with shorts and tying it all together with a laid-back bag. An avid collector of vintage sunglasses he scoops up from his travels across the globe, he never leaves home without a minimum of three pairs in his car (for emergencies) and one pair perched on his perfectly coiffed hair.

On a lazy day, you’d see him in a pair of relaxed linen trousers or traditional Indian leather kolhapuri chappals, he believes can downplay even the dressiest outfit. Oh, and since we’re talking shoes, I was completely amazed at his enviable collection of neon trainers, preppy oxfords, bright loafers and printed espadrilles.

Which is why, when I heard he was starting his own line of quirky, out-of-the-box menswear named after his blog, ‘The Snazzy Man‘, I could hardly wait to share it with the world! If you feel your man could afford to infuse some fun into his daily dressing, this is where he needs to be. From half-printed shirts for the commitment-phone to placement prints for the shy and monochrome shorts for the fashionable brave heart, there’s something in it for every guy-on-the-go.

Mohnish plans on making his foray into fashion week soon, but before he does, he’s showing the custom-fit babies he’s wearing in this post (with ties and pocket squares to match!) at The Lil Flea this weekend. Stop by to get your very own shirts, shorts, and pants custom made for your body, just as they should be!

Check out Mohnish’s OOTD’s on Instagram, his thoughts on style on Twitter, or shop his collection before everyone else on Facebook. Also, be sure to show his blog some love or do it in person by meeting him at The Lil Flea this weekend.

Which of the shirts he’s wearing here is your favourite? Tell me all about it in the comments section!
