who wants a christmas present?

My 'End of the World' confession? I have a substance abuse problem. Okay, maybe i have more than one, Diet Coke and shopping being the top contenders. But jewellery comes in a close third.
.
It takes knowing me for less than ten seconds to recognize the issue. A flash of colour around my neck, arms adorned almost to the elbow with cuffs and multiple fingers glittering happily away as those knuckledusters catch the light. Yep. I'm hooked.
.
And before you look at me in judgement, admit that you're as bad as I am! Let's face it. when it comes to baubles, women are like magpies. Which is why, as a Christmas present, Sapphire and I are giving you a chance to win this too-delicious-for-words statement necklace!

  9. Pink is such a strong and bold color that in my opinion, it is best to let it speak for itself. I would co-ordinate the necklace with the wardrobe basics:
    1) a black shirt, maybe black cigarette trousers, my houndstooth blazer and color appropriate stilettos
    2) a dainty white top and a floral skirt, with stockings and wedges.
    3) It would work superbly with a stripped shirt, black jeggings and a canvas ballerina. Let's not forget the arm candy here :)
    4) Black/White dress. Lot's of ways to go from here :D

These are off the top of my head right now, what I like about this necklace is that it can be dressed up and toned down with the appropriate outfit.
    Thank you for this giveaway!
    Happy Holidays!

  11. According to me a Statement Neck piece adds Loads of glamour,Drama,Edge,Definition and Distinction to an particular desired outfit. And Merging one can be a task as it has to sink with in to get that whole new look.Personified,I'd say. This Neck piece has lots to talk about so keeping it simple yet chic outfit is on my mind:
-Pairing this Necklace with an Sleeveless Burnt Tangerine lace peplum top(Orange and Pink goes well together, But a Burnt tangerine is the HOT new color for fall and is perfect color to contrast with Neon/Hot pink)and a charcoal grey fitted Midi pencil skirt that will tone down the bright colors with sophistication.Accentuate tiny waistline with a thin Leopard print belt on peplum top that will ultimately create texture when Lace and Leopard print are combined. Accessories are a must, A touch of Gold or a rose gold dainty jewelry will absolutely spark-up the whole ensemble.Dainty bracelets and rings in Gold/rose-gold jewelry and a sweet pair of pearl studs will add an feminine glow to the outfit. It's an optional but stocking is an classic combination for fall attire be the jet black opaque tights or the printed stockings especially the Heart printed one are so chic, it will help one or me to stay warm as well as would look classic donning them .A Black studded leather over-sized clutch will stand out and Last but not at all the least, completing the whole look by black suede high heel court pumps to elongate legs. For that chilly days, One can add a sequined gold blazer or just a Classic black blazer to keep you snug in with glam.Oh yea, Burgundy nails on the list too.!
...For me this is my Desired outfit styled with this gorgeous necklace.
Thanks Anushka For this wonderful giveaway.Keep blogging.

  14. Anything less than making this a party statement would be sinful.

Style with a classic, body fitted LBD, small gold earrings OR gold cuff (not both) with black pumps that have hot pink heels (Thank you Aldo) and very sexy, subtle cat eyes.

All eyes will be on this necklace and I'm good to go!

  15. Neon is totally IN these days...so i wud match this necklace with my most basic LBD or over a heavy crew neck sweater. my idea is to simply be comfy, practical and totally party ready without a hassle and a little more like a celebration wearing it :)

    ReplyDelete
  16. I'd pair this stunning neck piece with an oversized sequined knit and floral print pants, sky high heels and oodles of confidence :)

  17. this eye catchy piece could go along with anything which is plain and not to heavy .. outfits with colours like indigo, pearl white, a diff shade of green , baby blue would work well.. with high pump heels ... avoiding any other kind of accessories ..

  18. i will style this statement necklace with a lovely white knee length dress with hot pink kitten heels, gold cuff, cocktail ring and glittery gold clutch.

  20. Since a statement neckpiece can take any outfit to another level (literally transform a dull, monotonous outfit):

    a) I'd wear this bubbly pink neckpiece to my prom with- a black sequins skater dress, pretty pink heels, a pink envelope clutch, a dash of coral pink lipstick, high ponytail to go with EITHER neon pink earrings from Sapphire (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=477153212320806&set=pb.124917817544349.-2207520000.1356188757&type=3&theater )
    OR
neon pink bracelet from Sapphire (http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=474200592616068&set=pb.124917817544349.-2207520000.1356188790&type=3&theater)
I'd give second thought to the earrings since they'd clash with the neckpiece, but who knows it might just look chunky, bold and sassy- and I'd be ready to be the prom queen
    b) If I were a celebrity I'd wear this to a breast cancer event since pink is the most powerful colour that endorses the strength of women and makes them stand out.

    c) If I were to don a colorblock look, I'd wear this with a stunning black and white colorblock chiffon top.

All in all, I think there would be a d),e),f),g).. all the way upto z) since statement neckpieces like these can give each of your outfits 10 different looks and it would be an insightful investment to your wardrobe :)

  21. The neckpiece is indeed beautiful, very bright and is clearly a party material. I would love to team it up wid a sheer black shirt and aztec print skirt.Black peeptoes and a box shaped sling clutch in black. Hair would be styled in a high rise ponytail to attract all the attention to the neckpiece and no other jewellery except a rose tinted watch on the left hand.

  23. this is a graet necklace which covers entire neck and gives a glowing look as its colour is very catchy and also it adds to the beauty ,pink colour looks very beautiful and does not itch

  24. A dress/top with a deep neck line, would be appropriate for this neck piece. I also think, that this neck piece is the best way of making a solid pastel shade dress/top, looking extremely dressy. Such a bold neon fuschia would be most appropriate for a not so bold outfit, so they both can fashionably contrast each other!
    I love it :D I want it :D

  25. I would pair this necklace with a white lace top, mint tulle top, sequinned clutch, charm bracelet and nude heels, just to let the necklace do all the talking.

  26. first of all Merry Christmas in advance.

A pretty and bold statement neckpiece like this deserves an awesome black one shoulder dress and Magenta peeptoes shoes to go and on days not so occasional I would wear it with a white shift dress, nude colour shoes/beige snake print flats and bag to match.

  30. Wow this is soo yum!

Something as gorgeous as this can go with an LBD to a plain white over-sized tee with black trousers.
Also I can see myself wearing khaki and military prints with this too. The contrast would be just amazing. So lets says, a khaki Zara tunic with the spikes at the shoulder + deep purple skinnies + the neckpiece + tan brogues.. And probably some others too.. That would make a great outfit!

And I'm not into Indian clothes (if you know what I mean) but my mum and me have been making sarees for over a year now. And hence now and then I just have to wear it.. So I have a navy blue and also a black saree with bandhini and tie-dye prints, and I think this would look really gorgeous with either of the sarees. Can't believe I even thought of this!

And finally a more dressed down look. I know a already mentioned the white tee, but I love wearing oversized tees a lot. So white over-sized tee + black/grey ankle length trousers + sling bag + black heeled shoes/ballet flats and of course the neckpiece!

This post has turned out too long, so I'm going to end here!

    Have a Merry Christmas!
