When it comes to evening dressing, the trick to avoiding the dreaded little black dress syndrome is thinking outside the box. The jewellery box, that is. 

My fail-safe formula for a night out is 'Jewel Times Three'. or, in English, colour block a jewel tone shirt with a jewel tone jacket and top if off with some massive bling.

Then throw in a box clutch, some heels, your favourite fall lipstick and embrace being a true lady noir.
